Lady Bears Basketball post 2-1 record through first three games

The team is led by senior guard Braennan Farrar and senior forward Tykayrah Williams. Both Farrar and Williams were selected to the preseason All-MEAC teams. The Lady Bears roster this season is a lot different than last year’s. With the departures of Zuri White, Chelsea Mitchell, Jayde Duncan and Ivy Harrington, head coach Edward Davis signed new additions to the team. Bears quarterback Elijah Staley had his best game of the season against the Tigers tossing three touchdowns, for 220 yards and zero interceptions. Senior running back Eric Harrell ran for 114 yards and a touchdown. The win against Savannah State gave the Bears offensive unit some positives.
