Men’s basketball recap of first five games

by Blair Young, Sports EditorThe men’s basketball team started their much anticipated season a little underhanded. They are missing star guard Tiwian Kendley who is out due to a suspension. Despite missing their leading scorer from last year, the Bears managed to start their season with a winning record (3-2). Consistent play from the bench and contributions from new players have carried the team during the absence of Kendley. The Bears score first win of the season at homecoming game

by Ty’rique Sims, Assistant Sports Editor Morgan State University alumni, young and elderly, packed Hughes Stadium to see the Bears get their first win of the season as they defeated the Savannah State Tigers 48-28.
