Green Party candidate visits Morgan State

Akira Kyles, Assistant Campus News EditorAs the election approaches, a majority of Morgan State University students will be eligible to cast their ballots for the next president of the United States; but some may not vote red or blue. On Wednesday evening, Green Party Vice Presidential candidate spoke at Morgan for a forum entitled “Justice or Else Gets Political.”  The talk was hosted by Prof. Jared Ball of the School of Global Journalism and Communication and sophomore Jeremy Collins. Baltimore split at Trump visit

Maliik Obee, Staff WriterThere was a wide split in sentiment towards presidential candidate Donald Trump’s visit to the 2016 National Guard Association of the United States’ 138th General Conference & Exhibition at the Baltimore Convention Center on Sept. 12. Word of Trump ending closing out the three-day event drew a large crowd of supporters who despite, not having credentials to enter the event, gathered outside awaiting his motorcade. Morgan students filled the seats inside Turpin Lamb Theater at the Carl J. Murphy Fine Arts Center to hear what the five candidates had to offer.
