by Akira Kyles, Managing EditorTemporary housing has been activated for about 70 female students as Morgan State University negotiated rooms at the Radisson hotel four miles from the main campus in the wake of the housing waitlist issue.  This semester, MSU has seen an increase in enrollment and have overbooked their dorms leaving students without a room on campus. This has left students and parents frustrated about how something like this could happen. Zipcar car zooms its way to Morgan State

by Akira Kyles, Managing EditorMorgan State University students, faculty and staff now have a new way to get around town between classes thanks to the new Zipcars on campus. In an announcement sent out to the campus on Monday, Morgan has now made Zipcar available for everyone to use. Students can use it if they are at least 18 years old or older. MSU President meets with International students following Muslim travel ban

by Devon Ashby, Staff WriterMorgan State University President David Wilson held a meeting with international students Thursday afternoon, where he condemned President Donald Trump’s travel ban on seven Muslim countries. Wilson said he was “disappointed” in Trump’s order, which went into effect January 27. “That [executive] order does not represent who we are as a country,” Wilson said. “It doesn’t represent who we are as higher education institutions in this country, and it certainly does not represent who we are here at Morgan.” Wilson continued by encouraging students to act with care when making international travel.
