Morgan names new athletic director

Benjamin McKnight III, Editor-In-ChiefMonths after searching for a replacement to Morgan State University’s former athletic director, who retired in June, a new athletic director has been officially named. Bears lean on defense to stifle visiting Hornets

Traevon Benjamin, Contributing WriterIn a game where lots of rain played a factor, Morgan State University finished out on top with a 20-17 win over Delaware State University. Senior receiver Ricky Fisk set the tone for the Bears with a huge 44-yard reception from Andrews which led to a 12-yard touchdown pass to redshirt junior receiver Amonta Poteat.
