Morgan State football players make MEAC All-Conference teams

by Joshua Sampson, Contributing WriterDespite finishing with a disappointing (1-10) record this season four Morgan State University football players were named to the MEAC all-conference teams. Being recognized as a top player in their respective positions, Carl Garnes, Brandon Jones, Rico Kennedy, and Malachi Washington were rewarded with their high level of play this year. Garnes, defensive back, earned third team honors along with linebacker Kennedy. Men’s basketball recap of first five games

Despite missing their leading scorer from last year, the Bears managed to start their season with a winning record (3-2). Consistent play from the bench and contributions from new players have carried the team during the absence of Kendley.
