Renovated Food Court Finally Opens for Business

By Ty’rique Sims, Staff WriterThe anticipated reopening of the University Student Center food court will take place on Tuesday.  Food options will include made-to-order deli sandwiches, Italian specialties, pizza, hand-tossed salads, sweet treat desserts and chicken and waffle fries from the Chick-Fil-A franchise, which will have an express vendor in the food court. Morgan Prepares for Winter Storm Jonas

Tramon Lucas and Benjamin McKnight IIIIn preparation for this weekend’s impending winter storm, dubbed Winter Storm Jonas by multiple news outlets, Morgan State has closed campus for January 22 through 25. On Wednesday evening, a statement was released from the school allowing students to begin moving in on Thursday morning. Originally, move-in activities for the spring semester were supposed to take place on Saturday and Sunday. Annual Town Hall Meeting Highlights Major Upgrades

by Devon AshbyOn Tuesday, campus President David Wilson introduced a handful of big changes coming to the Morgan State University community in the next few months and years. Wilson made it clear that he heard complaints and requests of students and faculty alike, and that the university will undergo major upgrades, specifically with the food choices on campus and technological improvements, in the next two years.
