Funeral for Gerald Williams attracted hundreds

However, instead of keeping warm inside the comfort of their own homes, Joneé Brown and Gerald Williams were on their way to say their final goodbyes to their 20 year-old son, Gerald Ronald Williams. The funeral was held at Reid Temple AME Church, which is home to 8,000 church members, 300 choir members, and a sanctuary built to hold 3,000 people. Student Safety Concerns Reach the Board of Regents

Akira Kyles, Staff WriterOn Tuesday morning, grieving Morgan State students were allowed to address safety concerns at a board of regents meeting after the death of Gerald Williams. Williams, 20, a Multi-platform Production major, was stabbed in Morgan View on Monday evening during an altercation. Senior Speech major Chinedu Nwokeafor tried to save Williams’s life but was unsuccessful.
