by Stephen-Michael Thompson Jr., Contributing WriterThe Morgan State University women’s basketball team traveled to trip to RAC arena on Wednesday night on a five-game losing streak, and walked away with their second away win of the season, defeating University of Maryland Baltimore County 69-61. Even though they came out on top, the Lady Bears started slowly. Due to struggles on offense, the Retrievers started the game with a 22-15 lead after the 1st Quarter. Morgan students serve community through weekend tutoring

Justin Motley, Social Media EditorThe Morgan State University Tutoring Corps officially opened its doors for this semester two weekends ago, giving parents and guardians the chance to register their children for tutoring services at the university. Run by the Office of Community Services, the program allows Baltimore City and County residents in kindergarten through fifth grade to expand on their math, reading, homework and study skills.
