No threat found after reports of an active shooter at Howard University

D.C. Metropolitan Police are still investigating earlier reports of an active shooter, after no threat was found at Howard University, Tuesday afternoon. The Bears score first win of the season at homecoming game

Morgan State University alumni, young and elderly, packed Hughes Stadium to see the Bears get their first win of the season as they defeated the Savannah State Tigers 48-28. MSU administration gives an update on the housing issue

Morgan State University’s housing administration are moving the waitlisted students that have been lodging at a nearby hotel into dorms on campus. On Aug. 27, about 70 female Morgan State students had been moved into a Radisson hotel four miles from campus. Most of the students were part of the summer bridge program Center for Academic Success and Achievement (CASA). The housing administration made a 60-day commitment with the Radisson Hotel on Falls Road, which ends on Oct. 26. The history behind Legends Plaza

Morgan State University unveiled the new Legends Plaza outside of Hughes Stadium. Two statues of Morgan’s most famous coaches, Edward Hurt and Earl Banks were introduced to a crowd of family members, former players, and other distinguished guest. They are the first monuments that will honor the historical athletic legends in Morgan’s history. The statues were dedicated to two of Morgan’s greatest leaders.
