The Morgan State Bears traveled to play the Howard University Bison for their homecoming game but came up short, losing to Howard 39-14, as mistakes and frustrations led to the loss. The Bears travel to battle Howard University at their homecoming (Preview)

The Morgan State Bears (1-5, 1-2)  are coming off their first win of the season from homecoming, defeating the Savannah State Tigers 48-28. Bears quarterback Elijah Staley had his best game of the season against the Tigers tossing three touchdowns, for 220 yards and zero interceptions. Senior running back Eric Harrell ran for 114 yards and a touchdown. The win against Savannah State gave the Bears offensive unit some positives. MSU retention rates coincide with financial need

Some were there for food quality improvements and others for disability service issues, but the Morgan State University community heard the president’s numbers about decreased retention but the need for more financial support. The auditorium located in the University Student Center filled about 125 seats of students, staff, faculty and more. Students share concerns at MSU president’s fall town hall

Though there wasn’t a large turnout, the Morgan State University students in attendance had tough questions for Morgan’s president at the annual fall town hall, Thursday. Morgan State University President David Wilson hosted his town hall to not only hear student’s concerns but also address all the success the University has seen in the last year. Mfume’s role as Miss Morgan was to serve as a representative for the students at the University.
