Lady Bears Basketball post 2-1 record through first three games

The Lady Bears basketball team tipped-off their 2017-2018 season last week. The team is led by senior guard Braennan Farrar and senior forward Tykayrah Williams. Both Farrar and Williams were selected to the preseason All-MEAC teams. The Lady Bears roster this season is a lot different than last year’s. With the departures of Zuri White, Chelsea Mitchell, Jayde Duncan and Ivy Harrington, head coach Edward Davis signed new additions to the team. Morgan State University students take a stand against poor food quality on campus

Straying from her usual turkey sandwich, Shirleyanna Davis, a junior psychology major, decided to get a crispy chicken sandwich with extra honey mustard, lettuce, tomato and peppers on a roll from the Student Center food court. After consuming the sandwich, she became sick and threw up, twice, according to Davis. Every year for my birthday I plan a series of events for my friends and I. Sept. 16 marked my 26th birthday. An update on the status of Morgan’s work study program

Morgan State University’s work study students faced some financial changes this semester, which led to increased speculation of budget cuts within the work study program. Federal work study is a federal program at Morgan State that was established to assist in finding job placement for undergraduate students who may qualify for part-time, on and off-campus jobs. Morgan Men’s basketball preview for the 2017-2018 season

The 2017 Morgan State men’s basketball season begins tonight, and the team is returning ten players who were on the team that tied for third in the MEAC last season, including two all-conference players in forward Phillip Carr and guard Tiwian Kendley.
