Morgan State rallies for unity & peace at MSUnified

by Akira Kyles, Asst. Campus News EditorMorgan State University students and faculty gathered together to express the state of unity and peace on campus and in the Baltimore community. Morgan’s Student Government Association organized the event, called “MSUnified.” Morgan’s band warmed up the crowd and drew people to the quad for the peace rally. Director Damon Kwame Mason is out to inform the world of hockey’s black history, as well as inspire the next generation. “Hockey needs that Michael Jordan type of player,” said Mason, “Hockey is ready for that black superstar”.
